The New Daisy Theatre

"Obsessed with the instrument from a very young age, Costello found he was best able to express himself through the guitar. Picking up the guitar around age nine, after his family moved from Philadelphia to Atlanta, gave Costello an emotional outlet he was unable to find through his voice until years later. Sean Costello had not only won the Memphis Blues Society’s talent award, but had hit the road touring with his own band by the time he was fourteen. At seventeen, Costello released his first album, Call the Cops, which was described as “an explosive debut” by Real Blues Magazine. Soon after, Costello went on tour with fellow blues guitarist, Susan Tedeschi and laid down the smoldering lead guitar work on her Gold-Certified debut, Just Won’t Burn. Costello, having earned the respect and admiration of his own idols, has shared the stage with such legends as B.B. King, Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, Pinetop Perkins and James Cotton. The only thing Sean Costello ever wanted to do was play the guitar well and it would be no surprise to see him go down in history among the ranks of these legends."
