Corporate party for IT-specialists
Today is a very popular profession – programmers, and every year more and more IT-companies, which in turn organize events for their employees, it could be a New Year corporate party, team building, family day or conference.
Our experience of cooperation with IT companies shows that IT people are a specific audience which needs a special approach (we don’t mean anything bad, IT company executives tell us so). But we love working with IT people and implementing unusual projects.
From our observations, we can say the following about such companies:
- IT companies most often employ young people and the average age is 25-30 years old.
- Programmers are people with an analytical mind, which requires a special approach.
- Constant work at computers, does not allow full communication with colleagues.
- Most of the employees are male.
Based on the above data, we can confidently state that corporate events and teambuilding events are just necessary for IT-companies – to improve communication within the team and for emotional release.
We recommend holding at least 2 events a year: New Year’s corporate and summer team building, this will help to unite the team and build relationships with colleagues, as well as increase management authority.
Many people organize such events on their own, but as practice shows, such an independent event turns into a regular booze party at a restaurant or a typical barbeque in the countryside.
