Feast without a host – is it possible or not?
It’s very difficult to imagine a celebration without an anchorperson, but there are formats of events where you can really do without an anchorperson. But it is necessary to understand that not all events are possible without an anchor, even if you think that you don’t need one.
What kinds of events are possible without a presenter?
If you have a small event, up to 20 guests, and everyone knows each other very well, then most likely this format of the event can go without a host. In that case, you will have a chamber atmosphere of the holiday and a lot of communication. But if you plan to have a good time, take part in competitions, invite artists or a show program, then you can’t do without an anchorman!
There are activities in the format of “stand-up meal” and usually these activities last not long (2-3 hours). So at such an event is also possible to do without a presenter, if you do not need something or someone to announce, and guests need time to get acquainted and socialize …
Concert format of the event – there are events at which there is no competitive program, but only shows the artists in a non-stop mode and a banquet. In this case, the role of the host is only to announce the artists in time. For example, a DJ or coordinator of the event with off-screen scoring can cope with such a task.
An example of our event, where there was a rich show program, but they categorically did not want to take an anchorman. So our coordinator had to announce the speakers, and nothing wrong with that)).
There are cases when they order the leader of the event, but they say that we do not need a DJ, we will not dance … So you may not need a DJ, but he needs to lead the event!
If action is possible and without the presenter, without the deejay and musical registration – hardly. So we highly recommend not giving up on music for your event with a DJ and musical equipment.
One more example from our recent event – a small corporate party for 15 people, but customers did not want to take a presenter, not understanding why they need one … And the planned format of the holiday did not provide for its conduct without professional support by the presenter.
As a result of long negotiations and persuasion on our part that leading is still needed, the client was satisfied with the event and completely agreed with us that without a leading we would not have been able to create a holiday which lasted for 6 hours.
